Product Description:

This testing instrument, designed in accordance with the standard Thermoplastics pipes — Determination of resistance to external blows — Round-the-clock method, is extensively employed for external impact resistance testing of plastic pipes, plastic sheets and various non‑metallic materials.

In the field of plastic piping testing, it is applicable to a full spectrum of piping products, including PVC‑U water supply pipes, low‑pressure water supply pipes, core‑layer foam pipes, double‑wall corrugated pipes, Krah pipes, steel‑belt reinforced pipes, PE water supply pipes, MPP power pipes, hollow‑wall winding pipes and CPVC power pipes.

Instrument Features:

1.Triple Safety Protection: Three-level safety protection is configured, consisting of first-stage protection for the specimen door, second-stage protection for the observation window door, and third-stage protection for upper and lower limit positioning.


2.High-Speed Lifting: Driven by a high-torque stepper motor, the lifting rate reaches up to 250 mm/sec, completing a full stroke from 0 to 2 meters in only 8 seconds.

3.Intelligent Hovering Control: The machine is equipped with a multi‑segment speed control program, ensuring stable suspension of the hammer body and accurate, drift‑free position control.

4.Aerodynamically Optimized Guide Tube: The drop hammer guide tube is designed via 3D modeling with additional exhaust vents to minimize wind resistance. Meanwhile, a reinforced hoop structure is applied to the tube to prevent failure and deformation.

5.Pneumatic Hammer Gripping & Releasing: Instead of conventional electromagnetic and electromagnet hammer mechanisms, a high‑capacity pneumatic structure is adopted. The system uses a 300N long‑stroke double cylinder, with a beef tendon plate installed on the hammer contact surface, ensuring stable hammer operation and no mechanical damage. The full pneumatic design fundamentally eliminates troubles such as cable bending, wire breakage and electric leakage. An automatic pneumatic locking structure further ensures safe and reliable operation.
